Greenfield-Central High School running backs coach Zachary Allen began his coaching career in 2024, bringing a lifelong passion for football and a strong connection to the Greenfield community. A native of Greenfield, Indiana, Allen is committed to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field.

Allen’s football journey began in the fall of 1994 and continued through his senior season in 2002–2003 at Greenfield-Central High School. Throughout his playing career, he competed along the defensive and offensive lines before finishing his high school career as a defensive end. During his senior season, he earned All-Conference honors at defensive end and was a member of a conference championship team, experiences that helped shape his understanding of teamwork, discipline, and competitive football.

As a coach, Allen focuses on developing players to reach their full potential. His coaching philosophy centers on building confidence, discipline, and a strong work ethic, while helping athletes perform at their best in competitive situations. He emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, and preparation, with the goal of equipping players for success at the next level—whether that is in football, academics, or life beyond the game.

Allen takes pride in giving back to the same community and program that helped shape his own football career, working to positively impact the next generation of Greenfield-Central athletes.
