Mook McVay

Laurel High School Varsity WR Coach 👐🏾

9 years coaching experience:

5 years at the youth level with Westlake Bulldogs, Metro Mutiny, and Woodridge Warriors.

Entering my 4th year on the high school level with 2 years being spent at Fairmont Heights, and now Laurel High School.

I enjoy coaching and mentoring the young men to help guide them on and off the field and avoid making some of the mistakes I made at their age.

In 3 years of being at the high school level I have coached/trained 11 student athletes who have received All county honors.

I’ve spent decades coaching sports, starting with AAU basketball at 17 and continuing into football, where I’ve built strong, disciplined teams rooted in fundamentals and character. My coaching goes beyond the game, focusing on mentorship, leadership, and helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.
