Coach John Antonio brings strong leadership and experience to the Gauchos football program. A former all-league, multi-sport athlete at St. Vincent High School, he went on to attend Santa Rosa Junior College and the San Francisco Police Academy.

Antonio previously served as head coach at Piner High School, where he turned a struggling team into a North Coast Section playoff contender within three years. He has also coached under Trent Herzog at Casa Grande and Gary Galloway at St. Vincent.

In addition to his coaching career, Antonio is a retired Petaluma Police Officer and now a full time teacher and athletic director at Casa Grande High School. He is also the founder of a youth flag football league in the North Bay and believes in building champions through discipline, character, and hard work—both in the classroom and the weight room.
